First a bit of a copy paste from my post in this thread: http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=874508&page=2 (Begin C&P)
Winter and Urban, I can give you a bit of insight into the mystery of BOB in Pure Blind... I used to have another character in Ekliptika Alliance and we had the systems that BOB now has POS up in UC3H-Y and MT9Q-S.
There be Promethium moons in those systems and all the other moon minerals to make the complex reaction for Ferrogel. The one exeption being Dysprosium which is more common down in old BOB holdings.
(there is also a Promethium moon in X-70 and I would bet there is a BOB POS on it as well but is an NPC Sov so will not show on the map)
So you can bet that BOB has long term plans in that area if they are setting up Ferrogel production.
That is the ONLY reason to claim systems in Pure Blind, as the mining and ratting is sub-par compared to other 0.0 areas.
Just FYI : ]
EDIT: And nice to have you two back!!
And for my Cristal ball prediction: Promethium, Ferrogel and TII component prices are due for a sharp jump once the Industrial Bobbits get the production in full swing and start to manipulate the markets in their favor.
(End C&P)
Further to this I had a look through my moon data for Pure Blind and suspect BOB has also taken Promethium moons at:
Planet 6 Moon 3 of System GA-P6C
Planet 5 Moon 6 of System F-NMX6
Add these two Promethium moons to the ones in system UC3H-Y and MT9Q-S as well as a possible 5th Promethium moon in X70-MU and BOB has positioned themselves to control a large chunk of the Promethium and or TII Component market.
Supplies for this production chain are quite probably being delivered via the low sec route from Osmenen through to Mantenault in Placid. Possible jump routes for this chain also originate from and deliver to this Placid low sec pipe.
BOB Targets of opportunity should present themselves in MQ-NPY System in 0.0 Pure Blind, Maut System at the low sec end of the route just before Osmeden System.

I personally ran this Ferrogel production chain for Ekliptika Alliance and know this as fact, and I don't particularly like BOB.
So I have the experience knowledge and motivation to give BOB a hard time. What their enemy do with it is up to them, I have done all I can ATM ; P

I'm not saying they will be easy targets, but I can guarantee you will see heavily guarded BOB freighters popping through to Osmeden filled to the brim with Promethium and Ferrogel.
This also lays plain Target moons for anyone with the resources to burn a few BOB production POS in the target systems, and those moons are a heavy hit to loose.
*gets a warm fuzzy feeling at the thought of burning BOB Promethium POS*

This pulls away some front line troops for the protection of said assets and makes EVE a better place.
Mission accomplished and thanks for the confirmation.

No, you won't.
And... everyone with a moon scan spreadsheet (ie half of eve) knows what BoB is doing with the PB moons. If you're excited about those, you should check out some of their other 100+ highend moons.
And... please just stop posting. You'll regret it in a few months if you don't, trust me, I know all about 'CAOD regret'.
So this means that "The Littlest Hoboes" is a front corp for the BOB Industrial mechanism in place to run this production chain?

Confirmed... new entry targets of opportunity:
Industrial ships spotted in Maut system belonging to "The Littlest Hobos" Corp are likely loaded with Promethium outbount to Osmeden System and POS Fuel if inbound to Low Sec.
Er, why Pure Blind? There are many more high-ends in other BoB regions. If you want to cause them pain at least plan to do it out of reach of their 150 man capital blobs, or they only thing BoB will be losing is 350 units of LO shortly before whoever seiges their POS dies.

The ones that matter already knows. The other half of eve doesn't matter. Nothing will change. We won't have to "pull away" anything.
True, BOB has the assets that you are probably jumping all the fuel in and production out through Aunenen next to Nonni System.
Back in the day I had to arrange for shipment of all production without the benefit of just jumping it out with a cap ship.
At least it may force you to put some defences in place for the POS themselves ; ]
I can dream you know.......

Originally by: NAT Mav There are no Dysprosium moons to be had in Pure Blind.
Honest.
As I said there are none there, it was the one thing I had to buy for Ferrogel production.
But I think old IRON space in Dek had one or two Dysprosium moons, I tried to buy it off them at the time but they had it in their own production chain so I had to ship it in from down south.
And whats this... oh BOB looks to be holding some IRON systems now...... hmmmmmmmm
But that is not too critical to the production as BOB has long had a surplus of Dysprosium from its operations down south. And they have long been manipulating its price on the market as well.
Need proof look at the market and compare Dysprosium and Promethium prices, each of which is about the same rarity.

I was being sarcastic, and you are poorly informed.
GA-P6C Planet 4 moon 7 is the only exception to the no Dysprosium moons in Pure Blind that I know of and it can't keep up with 5 Promethium moons feeding into Ferrogel production.
And at the time it was not free for me to mine ; ]

Deklein has 12 dysprosium and about the same number of promethium moons.
This is not some super secret intel. There are spreadsheets with all the moon scans hosted on eve-files.
Hrm.... if thats the case can I ask what price BOB will be setting for Ferrogel and Promethium?

Originally by: sakana Yea a bet their a bit miffed that the ratting and mining is so bad in x-70. i mean, its not like they live in delve or anything is it.....
Its sad to see Pure Blind swallowed up by them for me I guess... it was the last real part of 0.0 that a new Alliance could easily get into 0.0 and still eek out a meager living off the Promethium moons there.
The reason it was like this was exactly because of the crappy mining and rats.
Guess I have been away from 0.0 too long ; P
its now BOBurbia for the L33T Cap pilots flitting arround in Dek chaining 1.9 Mil Tripple BS spawns.
*sigh*

Its interesting to see that this Promethium grab was planned from mid Nov last year when BOB began buying up low cost Promethium off the markets... the tell tale blip is the drop in Dysprosium prices shortly there after when you had to start selling off some of your stockpile to fund the Promethium buy.
The peeps left in charge of this market grab look to be slacking as the push into the North West took place though, the frantic selling of Promethium by people loosing systems has pushed prices close to the starting price.
The interesting thing to see is the drop of Dysprosium to the new price you set as the BOB fleets started to steamroll over your previous customers.
It must be hard to sell Dysprosium to yourself. : ]

Interesting, my character in Tri never did get to the bottom of what the real reason was to the Alliance deciding one day to just disolve and pack it up in Dek. But of course I was not privy to be behind closed door upper management meetings.

It was because of the cake! Seriously though I'm guessing ex-dorm but not in warped mining anymore? Come on use a main its only coad.
2 for 2 Very good..... I just couldn't follow the gang into a BOB pet corp. The whole thing with BOB wanting the boys to dump the DORM name before slipping into bed with them just made me sick to my stomach.
But in any case I was not going to nor will I EVER be a BOB pet.
Though I do not blame any of them for taking BOB up on the offer.
EDIT: and this is a Main ; P

I feel like you're some sort of elborate troll so it pains me to make a 'semi-serious' post... but are you familiar with jump hauling? Because if you're not, your posts would make sense.
Aunenen is reachable by jump from Dek with a carrier.

Muppet is the best insult. I wish we Canadians used it as frequently as you euros.
PS: HAI BOO
I always prefered "Pet" over "Muppet"
A Pet can bite the hand of its master, a Muppet can only contract an oriface in the hopes of cutting the circulation off to the appendage manipulating it.

Erm.... no I think you read that wrong, I was saying I prefered calling them Pets, over Muppets.
Gives them some bit of hope at biting their masters hands at some point in the future and the illusion that they can just "Snap" one day and revolt!!
Calling them a Muppet is a bit degrading and demoralizing with that whole orifice constriction thing to break free.
